Can one AI agent handle WhatsApp, Instagram and the web at the same time?
Yes, and they are not three robots: it is the same digital employee behind all three channels. It answers from a single body of business knowledge, so a fact corrected once stays corrected on WhatsApp, on Instagram and on the web, and conversations from every channel land in one portal.

Not three robots: the same employee at three doors
A Vyrkon agent is not created "for WhatsApp" or "for Instagram": it is created once, with its instructions —who it is, what tone it uses, what it must not do— and its knowledge —services, prices, hours, catalog—, and then connected to the channels where the business works. WhatsApp, Instagram and the chat on your own page are different doors into the same digital employee.
The opposite is what you see most: a WhatsApp bot from one vendor, a web chat from another, and Instagram messages answered by hand whenever somebody gets around to it. Three tools are three places to load the information, three places to forget to update it and three different ways of answering the same question.
One single memory of the business
Because the knowledge is one, the correction is one too. If a price changes, it is corrected in the agent's knowledge and it is corrected across every channel at once: there is no window where WhatsApp already quotes the new price and the website still quotes the old one.
This weighs more than it seems, because the typical agent error is not inventing from nothing: it is repeating an old fact that stayed loaded. With one copy of the knowledge per channel, that risk multiplies by the number of copies; and the copy somebody forgot to update is precisely the one answering, with total confidence, a fact that is no longer true.
And when the catalog lives in another tool —the online store, the CRM— the source is connected once and feeds every channel equally: the new price does not depend on somebody remembering to upload it three times.
«At the same time» is meant literally
A person with three inboxes open does not handle three channels: they rotate between them. While they answer the web chat, the Instagram message waits, and so does the WhatsApp one. The agent rotates nothing: each conversation is handled when it arrives, without a queue, even when several come in at once through different channels.
It does not distinguish hours or days either. The 3 a.m. Instagram message gets the same answer as the midday web one, and the next day the team finds in the portal the record of every conversation —what was asked, what was answered, what is pending— regardless of which door each one came through.
What changes from one channel to another, and what does not
What does not change is the answer: same knowledge, same rules, same limits. An agent that hands emergencies to a person on the web does the same on WhatsApp; one that does not give diagnoses does not give them on any channel.
What does change is who the person is on each channel. On WhatsApp the agent sees a phone number; on Instagram, a username; on the web, an anonymous visitor, unless they leave their details. From that comes an honest limit: the agent cannot guess that whoever writes on Instagram today is the same person who asked on WhatsApp yesterday, because the channels do not share that identity with each other. If the person identifies themselves, the conversation is recorded with those details and the team can join the cases; on its own, it does not happen.
What it does not do, so there are no surprises
It handles conversations: somebody writes, the agent answers. It does not publish content, does not manage the business's social accounts and does not appear on a channel that was never connected to it.
And connecting each channel is a real step, not a switch. The web chat is installed on the business's own page; WhatsApp and Instagram are connected using the business's own accounts, authorized through Meta's official channels. The business decides which doors it opens and when.
- It does not post photos or stories, and does not manage ad spend: it answers conversations.
- It does not staff a channel the business has not connected and authorized.
- It does not join a person's identity across channels on its own.
- It does not answer differently by channel: the knowledge and the rules are the same.
