How much does an AI digital employee cost in Colombia?
Between 297 and 997 USD a month, depending on how many digital employees and how many credits the plan includes; no implementation fee, and you cancel whenever you want. For reference: a minimum-wage employee costs a Colombian company 2,715,490 pesos a month.

The three plans, in money
Vyrkon publishes three plans and the price does not have to be requested through a quote: 297 USD a month for the entry plan, 397 USD for the middle one and 997 USD for the top one. At the 2026-08-24 exchange rate —3,048.12 pesos to the dollar— that is roughly 905,292, 1,210,104 and 3,038,976 pesos a month.
Two numbers change from one plan to the next. First, how many digital employees you can have working at once —1, 3 or 10, each in a different role—. Second, how many credits the month includes: 5,000, 15,000 or 50,000. An interaction is one customer message plus its answer, so a typical conversation consumes several.
Billing is monthly, you cancel whenever you want with no penalty, and there is no implementation or onboarding fee. If you pay for the year up front, the monthly rate drops: the entry plan lands at 238 USD, the middle one at 318 and the top one at 798.
What the price includes
The channels are included, not billed separately: the same digital employee staffs the website, WhatsApp and Instagram, and can send email. The portal is included too — where the business loads its knowledge (services, prices, hours, catalogs) and where every conversation is recorded so it can be reviewed.
Team access is included as well: each plan comes with a number of people who can get into the portal, with no per-user licenses. And updating the knowledge generates no charges: changing a price, uploading a new catalog, or connecting the source where it already lives, such as Shopify, WooCommerce, HubSpot, Odoo or Clientify.
What is billed separately
Three things, and it is worth knowing them before doing the math. First: phone calls do not come with any monthly plan. Having the digital employee answer the phone is billed per minute —0.2985 USD, about 910 pesos at the 2026-08-24 exchange rate— and it is a separate product, so whoever does not need it is not paying for it inside their plan.
Second: voice in chat. Having the employee answer with audio as well as text is a 47 USD a month add-on, capped at 500 audio replies.
Third: overage. If the business burns through its credit allowance before the month ends, the employee does not switch off: whatever follows is billed per credit. Which one suits you —paying overage or moving up a plan— depends on whether the spike was a one-off month or is already the normal volume.
The comparison against a human employee
The natural reference is payroll. In Colombia, a minimum-wage employee receives 1,750,905 pesos plus 249,095 in transport allowance, but costs the company 2,715,490 pesos a month once benefits, social security and payroll taxes are added. That covers the legal maximum of 42 hours a week, with fifteen business days of paid vacation per year of service.
The middle plan, at 397 USD, works out to roughly 1,210,104 pesos a month. The figure invites an easy conclusion, and that conclusion is false: they do not do the same job. A person resolves what is not written down, decides exceptions, takes payment and serves people face to face; the digital employee answers with what the business loaded, at any hour and across several conversations at once, and hands anything outside that to a person. The useful comparison is not "it is cheaper than hiring": it is that the hours and messages nobody attends to today have a concrete price, and it is the one above.
When it is not worth paying for
There are businesses where this expense is not justified, and saying so saves a bad purchase. If few people write to you in a week, you answer in time and nothing is lost overnight, a monthly plan is paying for a problem you do not have.
It is also the wrong purchase when what you are missing is hands: somebody to pack, take payment at the counter or visit customers. A digital employee converses —answers, books, collects details, hands off— and does nothing physical. And if all you need is for the phone to be answered, the path is per-minute billing, not a monthly plan.
The signal that it is worth it is concrete: messages going unanswered at night, on weekends or at the daily peak, and customers asking the same thing over and over. That is exactly what the price buys.
