Clientify
Clientify is the only connection where your digital employee also writes: when it captures a new lead, it creates them as a contact in your CRM. It's optional, you turn it on yourself, and it comes with a couple of caveats worth understanding.
What connecting it solves
Leads stay stuck in the chat
The employee handles people well and captures their details, but if those contacts live only in a tool your sales team never opens, they don't exist. The salesperson keeps working the same list as always and those names never make it in.
Moving contacts by hand gets done until it stops getting done
Copying name, email and phone into the CRM works the first week. Then a busy day comes along and they pile up, and once they've piled up nobody moves them. Follow-up is lost to a boring chore.
Loading duplicates makes a mess of your CRM
When the same customer writes twice, or comes back a month later, repeated contacts get created. A CRM with duplicates wastes time and ends up with two salespeople calling the same person.
How the connection works
You decide whether it writes or not
Writing doesn't come turned on. It's an option you switch on in the connection, and while it's off the employee only reads. We never write into the system of someone who didn't expressly ask for it.
It checks before creating, so it doesn't duplicate
Before creating a contact it looks that email up in your Clientify. If it already exists, it doesn't create it again. That's what keeps your database from filling up with repeats when the same customer writes several times.
It leaves a mark on what the employee brought in
Every contact it creates is left with a tag of its own. That way you can filter in Clientify exactly which contacts came in through the digital employee and measure whether the channel is working for you.
What it does with this
Everything on this list works in production today.
- Creates the contact for a new lead, if you turn that option on
- Marks it with the “agente-vyrkon” tag so you can filter it
- No duplicates: if the email already exists in your Clientify, it doesn't create it again
- It also reads your product catalog to quote
Clientify in a conversation
Un ejemplo de cómo atiende. No es una conversación real de ningún cliente.
ClienteHi, I'd like information about the advisory plan for small businesses.
Digital employeeHi. The small-business advisory plan includes an initial assessment and monthly follow-up sessions. How many people are on your team?
ClienteThere are 12 of us.
Digital employeeFor 12 people the mid-tier setup applies. What do you most want to solve: sales, processes or the team?
ClienteSales above all, we don't have a sales process.
Digital employeeGot it. That's exactly the focus of the initial assessment. Can you leave me your name and email so the team can contact you with the proposal?
ClienteSure, Andrés Molina, andres@example.com
Digital employeeThanks Andrés. I've noted down that there are 12 of you and that the focus is the sales process, so whoever calls you already has the context.
What you need to connect it
What the tool itself will ask you for. Worth having at hand before you start.
- A Clientify API key, which you copy from Settings → Developers
- Turning on the write option if you want it to create contacts: without that, it only reads
- Nothing else to read the catalog: if your Clientify has no products loaded, the connection still works for contacts
What this connection does NOT do
The real limit, not a list of humility.
- It writes nothing while you haven't turned that option on yourself
- It doesn't modify or delete the contacts you already had in Clientify
- It doesn't create a contact again when its email already exists in your database
- It doesn't create contacts from old conversations: only from new leads
What data it touches
Your catalog of products travels, and —if you turn writing on— the name, email, phone and summary of interest of each new contact.
Frequently asked questions
Is it going to start writing into my Clientify as soon as I connect it?
No. Writing comes turned off and it's an option you have to switch on yourself in the connection. While it's off, the employee only reads. We never write into the system of someone who didn't expressly ask for it.
Is my CRM going to fill up with repeated contacts?
No, because before creating a contact it looks that email up in your Clientify and if it already exists it doesn't create it again. It also only creates contacts for new leads, so a conversation picked back up doesn't generate another record.
How do I tell which contacts the digital employee brought in?
Every contact it creates is left with a tag of its own, so you can filter them in Clientify and see exactly which ones came in that way. That's what lets you measure whether the channel is working for you instead of assuming it.
Can I disconnect Clientify whenever I want?
Yes, from your portal and with no paperwork. When you disconnect, the employee stops using that information right away and the rest of the conversation keeps working the same. Nothing stays tied down and there's no minimum term.
Do I need to know programming to connect Clientify?
No. The connection is set up from your portal by pasting the details the tool itself gives you, and if you get stuck we help you get it running. There's no code to write and nobody to hire for this.
Where are the conversations stored?
In your portal, separate from those of any other customer. There you can read each full conversation and see the leads it produced, without depending on the app the message came in through.
Connect Clientify from your portal
You hire the employee, go into the portal and connect Clientify in the channels or integrations section. If you get stuck, we help you.
